"The wound is the place where the Light enters you." – Rumi

To live a fulfilling, joyful life is a universal goal. Yet as we move through life, stress, pain, and loss are often inevitable parts of the journey. Chances are, you have been hurt, felt stuck, or even doubted whether there was still hope for healing and change. You do not have to face it alone. Whether you are navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, or deep-rooted shame and self-blame, every part of your experience is welcome in the therapy room.

Together we will create a safe space where you can bring whatever is on your mind and heart so that we can face it together. In therapy, we may explore past experiences that continue to trouble you today, examine thought and behavioral patterns that contribute to distress, practice body-based exercises to calm your nervous system, and develop practical strategies to enhance your day-to-day well-being. Throughout our work, we will move at a pace that feels comfortable for you and interact in a way that allows you to be your authentic self.

My approach to therapy

I work with adults and teens (13+), both in person in Seattle and virtually across Washington. My therapeutic style is rooted in person-centered and strengths-based philosophies. I believe that every individual possesses unique strengths and talents, and I tailor my approach to fit each client’s goals and needs. I specialize in mindfulness-based interventions and most typically draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and polyvagal-informed approaches to support nervous system regulation, trauma healing, and self-compassion.

As someone who has navigated anxiety and multicultural experiences firsthand, I am particularly passionate about supporting individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and the challenges that can arise from living between cultures. I believe in holistic healing that happens not only within the mind, but also through our bodies, relationships, and environments. I welcome clients from diverse cultural, immigrant, and minority backgrounds, and I am able to provide therapy in both English and Mandarin.
