There are many reasons you may be seeking therapy: guidance during a life transition, support managing overwhelming emotions, a want to reflect and explore your identity, help navigating relationships, or self-preservation while navigating systems of oppression. I specialize in working with queer, trans, non-binary folks, especially queer people of color. Additionally, I work with people navigating life transitions, identity exploration, religious trauma, anxiety, depression, and ADHD.

My approach to therapy

I work individually with teens and adults, both in person and virtually. I approach therapy from a trauma-informed, strength-based, compassion-focused, emotionally-focused, systemic, intersectional, and relational practice. This means I believe you are your own expert and I want our work together to be empowering. I incorporate CBT and DBT into therapy sessions. Additionally, I aim to listen to you and work in collaboration with you as we navigate patterns in your life.

As a queer, mixed-race clinician, I appreciate any opportunity to be welcomed into somebody’s goals, dreams and assist in integrating wellbeing practices into daily life. Therapy is a brave and collaborative process. If you feel ready to reflect, notice patterns, and make changes please schedule a consultation.
