“Healing marks room for us to fight in the places where it’s necessary and to love in the places we long to.” - Prentis Hemphill

There are endless ways of being in the world. You might be seeking therapy because you’re feeling worn out, anxious, and out of alignment with where you want to be in life. Therapy can help you embody ways of being that support who you are and who you’d like to be in relationship to yourself, others, and the larger community around you. Every person comes to therapy holding unique stories, thoughts, beliefs, emotions, values, experiences, and behaviors. I offer a relationally supportive, collaborative, and warm environment where it all belongs and I would be honored to help you sort through it all. I value our shared humanity and what it means to be human, together.

My approach to therapy

I work individually with adults and teens via telehealth. In session, we will go beyond head knowledge to engage with your embodied experience. We will explore ways for you to find ease and flourishing in your life and relationships. I see the impact of systems of power, oppression, and inequity to be intricately intertwined with wellbeing and I actively strive to address this in my approach to therapy. I practice from a liberation centered, neurodiversity affirming, disability justice informed, and body neutrality, acceptance and/or positivity lens.

Specific modalities of therapy I draw from include: Compassion Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, somatic therapy, and attachment-based approaches.
